Johannes grew up in Stavanger Norway. At young age he started photographing everything around him, and he is still doing that. He has had solo shows and been part of group art shows in New York, Boston, Minneapolis, Oslo and Stavanger. His work is a part of Walker Art Center collection. He is also in private collections both in Norway and the USA. Since 2006 Johannes has collaborated with Salvation Army, photographing their humanitarian work in USA, Portugal, Kenya, India, Bangladesh and Norway, also Johannes works with Dagens Næringsliv, Dagbladet, Aftenposten, covering the United States of America. Johannes has great passion for food, and since 2006 he has photographed 5 best selling cooking books in Norway: Rett Skal Være Rett, Drikk Mer, Suppe Såpe Frelse, Kjartans Tango, Tørst, Pedal Kraft and most recent På Stive Hjul gjennom Amerika.

Print and Repro production, Bitmap, Stavanger, Norway 2004-2005
Bitmap is Rogaland County largest commercial photo studio, I was producing large scale photography and printing, creating large banners, photographs, stands for exhibits and trade shows, clients where ranging from the oil industry to fine art. We scanned on Kodak Photo CD system and Imacon Flextight Scanners, We also photographed/scanned/retouch work for old historical archives. I handled photo storage in large scale.
Camera Expert and Lab associate Elite Foto, Stavanger, Norway 1999-2002
I worked at Elite Foto Stavanger, we operated the largest lab in the area, with clients ranging private to professional marked, I started running lab deliveries and in the end I was a professional fuji lab worker. We processed and printed from C41 color negative, E6 positives, and enlargements from Fuji Frontier. Also Epson printers for larger productions.
